J.Lidan LLC started because of my own experience with clothing and my body.  When I was in high school I struggled with being skinny. People would stage interventions because they thought I was aneroxic, told me I would never find love because men didn’t like skinny women, and clothing never fit right. After having kids back to back I remember the first time I went shopping for new clothes. I thought I would be safe with a size 8 since I had been a 00 before. I remember going up 10,12, 14, and 16 before something finally fit. I remember looking in the mirror and not feeling beautiful because even though I found my size I still looked horrible. I cried so much and told myself I wasn’t beautiful. I decided then that I would create a brand that focused on better fitting clothing and a body positivity focus on everything that I designed. J.Lidan was born so women can have a brand that helps them understand how truly beautiful they are. That Normal is beautiful. I now create custom sized pieces for women where we start with a consultation. We talk about the things you like and don’t and I design pieces that you can truly feel beautiful in. Our sizing is based off of body positivity words so that you know you are beautiful no matter what size you are!
